A WEEKEND RECAP

Hey guys & happy Monday,

I swear the week’s are just going so quickly.  It feels like it was only summer like a week ago and now it’s nearly winter, crazy!  Along with the weeks going so quickly I find every weekend I blink and its Monday morning again. Am I the only one who thinks that? Surely not.

Thinking of winter and really feeling it today,  I’m wrapped up in my delicious new knit from Pretty Little Thing.  I ordered it last week and I am so happy with it.  I am 100% a knitwear lover and fully believe in big cosy jumpers.  It’s over-sized so and I ordered a size 10. I have plenty of room in it (I am normally a size 10/ 12 in tops depending on the fit).  I have it tucked in to my jeans today to make it appear shorter but its actual length is a little longer, just touching my mid thigh.  I won’t lie, I did think it would be a little warmer then it is so I would advise a layer or two underneath if you are going to be out in the cold.

Okay I got side tracked, back to my weekend….. This weekend that just passed was action packed for me, it was so much fun.  It all kicked off on Friday night when I went to see The Manor at Koko London with a group of friends . I don’t know if you have heard of them or not, I hadn’t and  It probably wasn’t something I would have said was for me previously but I could not have had more fun if I tried. I would see them again in the morning for sure. I really would recommend checking them out, you won’t be disappointed.

Although my evening looked like I was going to have to miss the whole thing because of a work meeting on Friday afternoon, Cinderella got to the ball eventually.  I was in a huge panic and didn’t manage to get a proper photo of myself to show you what I wore (I promise I will get better at making sure I do in the future). I did manage to get some snaps of the night and I will leave links & images of what I decided to wear.

I didn’t intend on it being a very late night as I had plans for the next night but as always, I was enjoying the night too much and didn’t end up hitting the hay until 6am Saturday . I will never learn. I really enjoy nights like that though, where you have no intention of being up late but you just don’t want to end the night. Needless to say, power naps were had during the day on Saturday!

*It’s a mens t-shirt I picked up for when I needed a basic for under dresses etc.  I find these H&M mens basics really handy, I am wearing a size XS for this outfit but when I need it a big bigger for wearing tucked into jeans I always go up a size.

As if that wasn’t enough fun to keep me happy I had my Football Gala on Saturday Night. As you know from previous posts, I play for a Gaelic Football team in Luton, Claddagh Gaels Every year this gala gives us girls a chance to swap football boots and shorts for heels and pretty dresses.

It’s a chance for us to celebrate our year whether we have been successful or not (unfortunately this year we weren’t as successful as previous years).

The weekend was so much fun I want to do it all over again however, next weekend is 100% going to be chilled because after that I am literally busy every weekend until Christmas (oh, did I mention to you guys I can’t wait for Christmas?) I will be sure to take you all with me on my future weekend plans- be sure to follow me on Instagram for daily updates. 🙂

Hope you all had a fun weekend!
