Your Classic Man

It’s no secret Peaky Blinders is having it’s moment both on TV and by the looks of fashion, on the street. This week I am here to help with some inspo for the coming months on how to grab that look but with a modern twist for autumn/winter.

Hope you find this helpful!

Crombie Style Coats:
Definitely something you can’t go wrong with. There are plenty out on the high street and it’s a piece that can be worn so many ways. If you really want to re-create that Peaky Blinders look I would suggest sizing up to make the coat slightly over sized. If you want to avoid the over sized look, ensure the coat is a good fit across your back and shoulders when buying.

Crisp Shirts:
There is just something so smart about a clean crisp shirt on a man. To really achieve this look, I suggest making sure the shirt is a good fit. This means I don’t want to see buttons popping off because its a super slim fit but equally you shouldn’t have excess fabric draping. Try on different fits before you buy a shirt. It should fit around your neck neatly and across your shoulders that you have enough movement. One thing that is super important to remember: Always make sure your shirt is ironed and you don’t have crease marks/ lines from the packaging.

The Suit:
Suiting hasn’t been top fashion priority in the past number of years but lately we are seeing them make a comeback. You can buy so many reasonable suits on the high street nowadays so don’t feel like you have to spend big money on one. Here are a few of my favourite styles inspired by that Peaky Blinders look.

Accessories:
Man, woman or child…. accessories can make an outfit. I have just a few below that I think will top this look right off with that slick finish.

Happy shopping!
